May the Lord remember His servant Hanne “Janet” in His Kingdom always, now and ever, and unto ages of ages!
Janet departed this life the morning of April 18, 2019, surrounded by her family: daughter Jackie Razzouk and son-in-law Dr. Bassem Razzouk; and their children, Lamya, Ralph, Carla and Nour. Also, son George is here from Guadaloupe, daughter Eveline and granddaughter Anna Maria are here from Lebanon, along with other relatives. Son Walid is also en route from Lebanon.
Born Hanne Saab, she was generally known by the French equivalent of Hanne, i.e., Janet. She married Habib Farah, who preceded her to the heavenly mansions.
Janet/Hanne is survived by 3 sons : Georges, Walid, and Roland Farah and 2 daughters Eveline Farah Kossaify and Jackie Farah Razzouk and their families.
We express our sincere sympathies to them and all their family. May the Lord grant them His comfort.
- Janet will be waked with visitation from 3:00 pm to 6:30 Monday, April 22, at Indiana Funeral Care/Harry Moore Chapel (8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis). Trisagion service will be held at 6:15 pm at the funeral home (prior to the Bridegroom Matins service that begins at 7 pm at the church).
- The Funeral service will be on Tuesday, April 23, at 11 am, at St. George Church (immediately following the Presanctified Liturgy that begins at 10 am).
- Interment will follow in the Orthodox section, the Garden of Anastasis, at nearby Oaklawn Memory Gardens. Then the Meal of Mercy will be back at St. George Church. All are invited.
The family asks that you do NOT send any flowers to their home or the funeral home or the church. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that Eternal Flowers (memorial donations) in Jeanette’s name be made to St. George Church. In turn, the church will give a large white flower cross in the name of all who participate in offering these gifts.
May He Who is the Resurrection and the Life and the Repose grant rest to the soul of His servant Janet and keep you all in His care!
